Ta

$58.24 USD

Ṭā (ط) is the nineteenth letter of the Arabic alphabet. It represents a voiceless dental plosive consonant that is pronounced by pressing the tip of the tongue against the upper teeth and then suddenly releasing it.

In Arabic script, Ṭā is written as a looped vertical line with a dot above it. It is commonly used in words related to transportation, such as "ṭarīq" (طريق) meaning "road", "ṭayyara" (طائرة) meaning "airplane", and "mataṭ" (مطار) meaning "airport". It is also used in the Arabic word for "doctor", which is "ṭabīb" (طبيب).
