"Mīm" (م) is the thirteenth letter of the Arabic alphabet. It represents a voiced bilabial nasal sound in the English language, similar to the "m" sound.

In Arabic calligraphy, the letter Mīm has a simple shape and is often used in words related to water, such as "maa" (water) and "amwaaj" (waves). It is also used in many Arabic words and names, such as Muhammad, Makkah (Mecca), and Musa (Moses). The letter Mīm is considered one of the "sun letters" in Arabic, which means that when it comes after certain letters, the pronunciation changes due to the assimilation of sound.
