Sīn

€56,95 EUR

Sīn (س) is the fifteenth letter of the Arabic alphabet. It represents a voiceless alveolar sibilant consonant that is pronounced by directing a stream of air with the tongue towards the alveolar ridge, creating a hissing sound.

In Arabic script, Sīn is written as a vertical line with three dots above it. It is commonly used in Arabic words related to knowledge and learning, such as "salam" (سلام) meaning "peace", "sana" (سنة) meaning "year", and "safar" (سفر) meaning "travel". It is also used in the Arabic word for "moon", which is "qamar" (قمر).
