Kāf (ك) is the eleventh letter of the Arabic alphabet. It is a consonant sound that is pronounced by creating a closure in the vocal tract and then releasing it with a burst of air, producing an unvoiced velar plosive sound. In modern standard Arabic, it is pronounced as an unvoiced velar stop.

The letter Kāf is written in the Arabic script as a loop extending from a vertical stroke that is slightly curved to the left. It is written from right to left, like all Arabic letters.

Kāf is used in a variety of words in Arabic, including nouns, verbs, and adjectives. It is an essential letter for the correct pronunciation of many Arabic words. In Arabic calligraphy, the letter Kāf is often used in the design of calligraphic scripts and can be seen in many beautiful examples of Arabic calligraphy art.
