Ḥā (ح) is the eighth letter of the Arabic alphabet. It is a consonant sound that is pronounced by constriction of the throat and emitting a voiceless, fricative sound. In modern standard Arabic, it is pronounced as a voiceless pharyngeal fricative sound.

The letter Ḥā is written in the Arabic script as a vertical stroke with a small curve on top. It is written from right to left, like all Arabic letters.
